On 28th December was a very busy day in Tana Delta region. It was a nomination day to choose an aspirant for the garsen constituency. We had two aspirants for the nomination, that is Maurice Dullu and Ben Matheka. The nominations went well as expected. Voter turnout was around 50%-60%. The IEBC registered 79,641 voters in Tana River county for the March 4th 2013 general election. The breakdown of the registered voters by constituency and county assembly ward is;

[UPDATE] As of Dec 2015, there is a population of 46,156 who have ID but have not registered as voters. We expect people are registering to vote and not making noises on social media.
